Africa: something to talk about.
Apparently the entire responsibility of starving children has been placed on me. As facetious as this person’s comment was, it did strike a chord and made me realize the big picture. Legit thanks. you know who you are.
Maybe cynicism has been stopping solutions to global problems. It’s a toss up between what is being done, and what people like me think is wrong with what is being done.
The difference there is that I’m not really doing anything.
Is it the best way to do it? I don’t know.
Is it making the problem worse? In this context, I wouldn’t think so.
The problem at hand is totally my responsibility.
It should be yours too.
